Getting ready. . .
Well, it's the night before takeoff, and we have been going through the usual trials and tribulations of trying to make sure we have everything all set for leaving home and that we have packed everything we need. Yesterday I wasted half the day trying to get an answer from United about changing the first leg of our flight, as we are tight on time to make our connection in Chicago. Four hours waiting on a chat, only to be told NO. O.K., we're trying to be optimistic and we'll see what happens. Then. . .it was really cold last night, and we ended up with frozen pipes in the kitchen. Yikes! Thank goodness Randy is so capable when it comes to home repairs, and we are good to go again. If all goes well, my next post will be made from Valletta!
